Should it be Utah v. Florida in the FedEx BCS Championship Bowl tonight?
The FedEx BCS National Championship Game is tonight and, no, theUniversity of
Georgia Bulldogs are not there. But, neither are the sixth-ranked
University of
Utah Utes. Should they be? They are 13-0. They have beaten some quality teams, including the
University of
Alabama in the Sugar Bowl, and
Oregon
State, who defeated the No. 5 team USC. Still, they will be sitting at home tonight, watching No. 1 Oklahoma (12-1) going after No. 2 Florida (12-1). Is it because the Utes are not a BCS team? Or, rather, is it simply because they would not draw the money that an Oklahoma-Florida match-up will? Personally, I think it should be a Florida-Utah game tonight.
